Aaron Oussoren enrolled in the glass program at Sheridan College in 2004, and began to explore his ideas through objects.  A residency at the Harbourfront Centre (Toronto, ON) and a full scholarship to Pilchuck glass school (Near Seattle, WA) have given Aaron the opportunity to be inspired by a variety of international artists.

Over the past year Aaron travelled with his work to Munich for 'Talente', an international exhibition of artists and designers. He also travelled to Belgium to show work in the Contemporary Canadian glass exhibition,  'Tenuous Tenacity'. In Belgium, Sally McCubbin and Aaron taught a workshop on glass design and prototyping.

Aaron lives in Toronto where he is a full-time Artist in Residence at the Harbourfront Centre glass studio. He also works out of his personal studio in downtown Toronto. He enjoys teaching at HFC, and looks forward to making new work in the coming year.
